Ginoz Blog

My blog’s biggest fan

I’m in love with my blog. I love visiting it, writing for it, and watching the number of posts grow.

Making small design tweaks, customizing the aesthetics, and thinking about ways to improve navigation are some of my favorite things. There’s even a hidden easter egg page, and a couple of people have already found it. Of course, I’ll keep adding more so that the curious ones get rewarded for clicking here and there.

I haven’t had much time to fully dive into CSS, so design has taken a bit of a backseat. But as soon as I have more free time, it’s something I want to take more seriously. I want my blog to feel even more original—more mine.

Tweaking little things here and there, then visiting my blog to see the result, gives me the same feeling as buying something new for my home. You put that piece of furniture or decoration exactly where you imagined it, then spend some time just admiring it. One day, you walk in, forget it’s there, then notice it again, and the feeling repeats.

Having a personal blog is important to me because it gives me a space where I can be truly myself. A space that’s entirely under my control, where I can do and undo as I please.

That’s nice in a world where almost everything is out of our hands.

In a world where the most important decisions are made by just a few.

Thanks for reading. In the meantime, I’ll go back to visiting and revisiting different pages of my blog, rereading old posts—because I am my blog’s biggest fan.
